Before you ask.

How is this different from just using a VPN app?
A VPN app protects the one device it's installed on, and only while it's running and correctly configured. Hush protects everything in the home from the network layer down, including devices that can't run a VPN app at all — printers, televisions, cameras. It also does something a VPN app can't: it separates your devices from each other, so a compromised television has no path to your work laptop.
Do you keep logs, or see my traffic?
No. The device doesn't log browsing activity, and I don't have visibility into what you do. The weekly report counts events — blocked attempts, uptime, unknown devices — and never content. If you'd prefer no report at all, it can be switched off.
What if it stops working while I'm away?
The device fails closed — if protection drops, the connection drops rather than falling back to an exposed line. For fixes, I can reach the device remotely to diagnose and repair it. That access can also be disabled entirely if you'd rather it not exist.
Does it slow the connection down?
There is encryption overhead, but on typical home connections the difference isn't noticeable for browsing, calls or streaming. If you have an unusually fast line, we can talk about hardware that keeps up with it.
Can I take it with me when I travel?
Yes. It's small enough to pack, and it works on any connection that gives it an internet line — hotels, offices, conference venues. That's often where it matters most, since you have no idea who configured the network you're plugged into.
What does it cost?
It depends on your setup and how much ongoing support you want. I'd rather discuss it on a call than quote a number that turns out to be wrong for your situation. The call itself costs nothing and comes with no obligation.
